Perez\, 45\, USMC\, ODS DESCRIPTION:The family of David Perez has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero and be present during Military Honors for his service to his nation. It will be our privilege to do so. \nDavid was born and grew up in Monterey Park. He passed of kidney cancer at the age of only 45.\n\nDavid proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a combat veteran with enlistment from 1989-1993\, he attained the rank of Lance Corporal with deployments to the Gulf\, Southwest Asia and Kuwait. David earned many commendations for his service. \nIn civilian life David was a Correctional Officer at Lompoc Federal Prison in Santa Barbara. He was and is a Marine\, fitness was a must while hiking and running marathons to stay in shape and fit.
