The family of William Hollis Phillips has requested that we stand a Flag Line for a celebration of life service. \nWilliam Hollis Phillips\, 77\, of Carolina Shores passed away peacefully on July 9\, 2016\, at the SECU Hospice House in Bolivia.  Bill was born on May 14\, 1939\, in Salisbury\, Maryland. Bill served his country in the U.S. Air Force. DESCRIPTION:The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by VFW Post 2725 and the Independence Village to attend this Veteran’s support activity.  The event will begin with a short ceremony and Flag raising in front of the Independence Village.  After the ceremony everyone is invited to the rear of the facility where informational booths\, family entertainment\, games\, and other family oriented activities and entertainment will be ongoing until 4:00 PM.  The event will support the Veteran’s Food Pantry. If you would like to donate to the pantry\, feel free to bring a non-perishable food item.  This is a great event to bring family and friends of all ages\, feel free to come at any time from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.
