A New Hampshire Blue Star Mother will be transporting our HERO. \nRobert Brewster Bunker\, MD served 45 years of dedicated and loyal service as a Federal Employee of the United States Government. Mr. Bunker was enrolled at Harvard University and withdrew from the University at the end of his Sophomore year to enter the Navy. He served in both the USN and the USA and earned the World War II Victory Medal. \nMr. Bunker never married and has no survivors. It is at his request that he have a motorcycle ride to his final resting place at the Village Cemetery\, Hinesburg\, VT where he will be laid to rest alongside his mother and father. It will be our privilege to do so. \nSPC Goodrich was a US Army veteran.  He served honorably from 2006 to 2011\, and was a combat veteran of the Global War on Terror having been deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq.  SPC Goodrich was medically retired in 2011. \nFor his service SPC Goodrich was awarded the Purple Heart\, the NATO Afghanistan Service Medal (3rd Award)\, Army Achievement Medal (4th Award)\, Good Conduct Medal\, National Defense Service Medal\, Afghanistan Campaign Medal W/ 2 Campaign Stars\, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal\, Iraq Campaign Medal W/ Campaign Star\, Army Service Ribbon\, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award)\, Combat Action Badge and the Driver & Mechanic Badge W/ Driver-Wheeled Vehicle(s) Clasp. \nSPC Goodrich and his wife Luz both passed from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  They will both be interred at Miramar National Cemetery. They leave behind three children\, 2 sons and a daughter ages 11\, 8 and 3. \nNOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. During that time he was stationed in South Korea and Germany and is a recipient of The Bronze Star.  After his military career\, SFC Bodkin worked for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and later for the Missouri Department of Corrections. It starts in Milwaukee Memorial Weekend and ends up in Milwaukee Labor Day Weekend. \nThe Flag will arrive at approximately 11:30 am to noon depending on the ride escorting it.
