Whitty has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his military honors funeral. \nWHEN/WHERE;\nTuesday July 19\, 2016\nSchroon Lake\, NY \nMission statement\nRaymond graduated from Schroon Lake High School then joined the US Army served in Korea from 1951 through 53 until his honorable discharge receiving the bronze star and achieving the rank of corporal.\nHe was a truck driver for a lumber company and then retired as a truck driver for the town of Schroon. Raymond helped people around town with general cleanup of their properties. He enjoyed wrestling and state fairs. He also made maple syrup at the family Sugarhouse. \nThe Patriot Guard Riders will be there to render Honor\, Dignity\, and Respect for the life and service of Corporal Raymond C. He passed away tragically\, while serving and protecting his community in Dallas\, Texas. He also served with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office from 2003 to 2007.
