Each event has members that are deploying within the next 120 days and those just returning from deployment. \nThis event focuses on members and their family concerns in preparation for deployment by providing military and community resource information workshops and stress management. Corporal Singh enlisted in the Marine Corp in 2007 and was assigned to the 1st Battalion\, 5th Marine Regiment\, 1st Marine Division\, at Camp Pendleton\, Calif. During CPL Singh’s 2nd deployment while conducting combat operations in Helmand province\, Afghanistan he was leading his men on patrol when they encountered enemy fire and CPL Singh was struck down. The date was June 22nd\, 2011. \nThe PGR stood for CPL Singh on his arrival at McClellan Air Park June 28th 2011 and again at his funeral service on July 2nd 2011 and at each Annual Memorial Service held for him since then. We transport our heroes to Washington\, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors\, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
