SUMMARY:MISSION COMPLETE - Frank B. Portillo - WWII Army
DESCRIPTION:We made it to the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in Tularosa and established our flag line for the visitation at 0845. We then established another flag line after the service at 1150. We established a missing man formation to lead the coach. The family car was behind the coach with the other bikes\, trikes and cages. The rest of the procession stretched a couple dozen long as we made our way about 20 miles north. Once at the Three Rivers Cemetery\, we established our flag line\, presented condolence post/PGR card and mission accomplished pin along with a NM PGR coin. This was a special mission because Mr. Portillo was a D-Day infantryman that stormed the beaches as a Liberator of Europe. In all\, we had 14 flag holders\, 10 bikes\, 2 trikes and 2 cages (Mustang and State RC truck)\, composed of Alamogordo\, Las Cruces\, El Paso PGR and Eagle Riders of Alamogordo. We also picked up 2 new riders for this mission. \n\nThank you to ALL that helped support this mission and make it a success. God Bless. \n\nDale “Coach” Lindley\nSENM PGR Ride Capt.
