DESCRIPTION:The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of John Roger Morgan to join the last ride in his memory. \nMr. Morgan of Aztec\, NM was born in Joplin\, Missouri on August 7\, 1931 and died on August 12\, 2015 at the age of 84. He served in the US Army from December 13\, 1948 until October 31\, 1962. \nJohn’s son\, along with family and friends\, will be leaving Aztec\, NM on Saturday\, June 4\, 2016 with Mr. Morgan for his final ride. On Sunday\, June 5th\, the Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to join the ride to the summit of Pikes Peak for the release of his ashes. The cost to ride to the summit is $12.00; the family will pay for up to eight riders. The ride to the summit will begin between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to allow the weather to warm and to complete the ride before potential afternoon rain showers. \nJohn was a lifelong motorcycle rider. DESCRIPTION:Thomas Christensen passed away on May 12\, 2016 after a long and hard fought battle with cancer at the age of 72. \nTom joined the U.S. Air Force in 1962\, and retired as a Master Sergeant from the USAF in 1982 with 20 years of distinguished service. \nHis second career was as a Legal Administrator in two high profile law firms in Las Vegas before he retired again in 2004 and moved to Prescott. \nTom was an avid golfer\, especially enjoying his time at the Antelope Hills Golf Course in Prescott. \nTom is survived by his wife of 50 years\, Sandy\, one son\, two grandsons\, two sisters and one brother. \nA Celebration of Tom’s life will be held on June 5 from 2-5 pm at the Antelope Hills Golf Course Centennial Center in Prescott. \nTom’s family has asked the PGR to stand a flag line at his Celebration of Life to honor his service to our country.\n\nDATE: Sunday\, June 5\, 2016\n\nSTAGING:\n1315 hours\nAntelope Hills Golf Course Centennial Center\n1989 Clubhouse Drive\, Prescott\, AZ \n[Directions – north from Prescott on SR 89 {towards Chino Valley}; right on MacCurdy Drive (@ traffic light). S. Navy  during WWII. Details are sketchy as his military records were destroyed.  After military service Hero Englund farmed & worked for the U.S.  Postal service retiring in 1988. DESCRIPTION:The family of Thomas Edward Tillitson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.\n\nThomas served in the Army from 1967 until 1984. He served in Vietnam and earned a National Defense Service Medal\, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 silver star\, Army Service ribbon\, Vietnam Campaign Medal\, Good Conduct Medal 3rd award\, and sharpshooter (m-16 rifle). Thomas worked with AFN in Germany and then with the DMA at March Air Reserve Base. He achieved the rank of SSGT (E-6).  Thomas enjoyed playing golf.\n\nHe is survived by his wife Diana\, a 10 year old adopted daughter\, and four grandchildren.\n\nNOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. DESCRIPTION:The family of Army Veteran Gerald Robert Lee Jr has requested the Patriot Guard Riders escort their hero to the Lodi\, CA cemetery for his final honors. The PGR is honored to do so. \nGerald entered Army active duty in 1995\, separated then joined the Oregon Army National Guard in 1998\, 2000 assigned to the 270th MP Sacramento\, CA\, 2004 assigned to the Lodi\, CA Armory Btry A\, 1/143 Inf. Gerald was honorably discharged in 2009.  CPL Lee was awarded the Army Achievement Medal\, NDSM\, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal & Global War on Terrorism Svc Medal. Gerald also served his home community as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic and as an EMT/CPR First-aid instructor for the fire department in Herald CA. Gerald is survived by his widow Sherry Hintz\, and 4 children. \nTHE MISSION: PGR members will stage and receive a mission brief then proceed to the American Legion Post 22 Memorial Hall 320 N. Washington St. Lodi\, CA to establish a flag line as Gerald is honorably transferred from the Memorial Hall to the Coach. PGR will escort CPL Lee and family to Lodi Memorial Cemetery 5750 E. Pine St.\, set up a flag line as Gerald is honorably transferred from the Coach to the grave site to receive his final honors.
