The Family of Lance Corporal Zachary David Smith, 25, United States Marine Corps, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in his Final Journey Home by providing flag-lines at his funeral and his committal shelter service, along with an escort.  Our Hero, Marine Lance Corporal Zachary Smith, served his country with Dignity and Honor.  He served as a Prison Guard just prior to being Honorably Discharged.
He earned and was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; the National Defense Service Medal; the Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon; and Marksman Rifle Qualification Badge.
