US Marine Corps Veteran Zaburn Marvin Knight – 80

The family of Mr. Zaburn Marvin Knight has requested the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS honor and pay tribute to him for his service to our Country.
Mr. Knight honorably and proudly served over 15 years in the US Marine Corps. His many awards and citations include the MERITORIOUS UNIT CITATION, GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL, RIFLE SHARPSHOOTER BADGE and the PISTOL MARKSMAN BADGE. He was an avid motorcycle rider and after being honorably discharged from the USMC, he was the owner of a Motorcycle Dealership in Barstow, CA, then after he returned to his native MS, he owned and operated Knight’s ATV/Motorcycle Repair Shop for 30 years until his retirement. Mr. Knight was a former Commander of the VFW in Barstow, CA.
PRIMARY STAGING: Wednesday 29 June 2016 at 12:30 PM at BURTON FUNERAL HOME; 634 US-82 West; Indianola, MS 38751, the PGR will provide a silent US Flag line until 3:00 PM.
ESCORT: Immediately following the visitation the PGR will escort Mr. Knight to ROUNDAWAY BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY; 776 Steiner Road; Doddsville, MS 38736 and provide a silent US Flag line for the graveside service beginning at 3:30 PM.
Note: The escort distance is less than 20 miles, large motorcycle mounted US Flags are encouraged.
