Yukon Schools Celebrate Veterans Comment

  1. Mission Complete: Yukon High School, Yukon OK October 17 2019
On Thursday October 17 2019 there were 13 Patriot Guard Riders on 10 bikes and who attended the mission to Honor the Military service of our Veterans and to Honor Brigadier General Larry D. Haub at the Yukon High School football game played at the Yukon High School Stadium, Yukon, OK.
We rode in the gate at 6:40 p.m. around the track from the visitors side to the Home Team side with Big Flag Bikes leading the way as the crowds cheered for us as the announcer read about The PGR and our dedication to Veterans and their Family’s.
Stopping the center bike at the 50 yard line, the riders dismounted and stood as the colors were presented and Our National Anthem was played. At that time the Fiance of Ride Captain presented the Game Ball to Brigadier General Larry D. Haub.
Riders then mounted and proceeded to the end zone.
The Yukon football team ran across the field with over 100 American Flags to the end zone in showing support and Honor to our troops, both past and present. After rolling up the Flags and stowing them in the Flag trailer riders mounted back up and exited the field.

Thank you to all of the Riders who came out to support this mission and our Veterans and Thank You for all that you do.

    Respectfully,
    Jeff “Poppa Bear” Huff
    Senior Ride Captain
