Special Instructions:
Funeral Service & Procession Starting Time: 11:00 AM, After the mission briefing, we’ll stand our flag-line as family and guests arrive for Mr. Shield’s’ Funeral Service. When the service begins, flags will be returned to the support vehicle and those Riders not participating in the procession will be dismissed to the cemetery for Part 2.
Procession Riders will receive the safety briefing and prepare to accompany Mr. Shields and his family and friends to the cemetery. It’s likely we’ll be asked to act as Mr. Shields’ pallbearers on this day. A professional escort will be provided. Our certificate will be presented at the time of Mr. Shields’ family’s choosing. Interment Service, Part 2 Start: 12:00 PM, Part 2 Time Estimated After the mission briefing, Riders will prepare for the arrival of the procession. We may be asked to be pallbearers. If so, the procession Riders who acted as pallbearers at the Church will again serve as pallbearers at the cemetery. We’ll then stand tall and silent at Mr. Shields’ Interment Service. At the conclusion of the Service, Riders will return our flags to the support vehicle and be debriefed and dismissed.
