The announcement below was released by Public Affairs on 9 December.

Due to the weather forecast for Monday, a high of 15 degrees, I would not encourage anyone to ride to this event but would like to see a good turnout.

The PGR will rally at the front of the Capital Building at 1030 and enter as a group at 1045.

Ride Captain and Point of Contact for this event will be Wayne “affire78” Webster.

Hope to see many of you there.

CHEYENNE – The public is invited to a ceremony for Wyoming’s state
remembrance wreath on Dec. 15, at 11 a.m., in the rotunda of the State
Capitol. The ceremony is part of the Wreaths Across America program that
honors veterans and their families during the holidays.
The ceremony at the capitol rotunda will be hosted by Wyoming
Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jim McBride and the Adjutant General
of Wyoming, Maj. Gen. Ed Wright. Everyone, especially family members of
deployed military and deceased veterans are invited, as well as veterans,
veteran’s organizations, and military personnel.
The ceremony will include a moment of silence in remembrance of
deployed military and deceased veteran’s and their families. The remembrance
wreath will remain in the rotunda throughout the holiday season.
Dec. 13 will mark the 17th anniversary of wreaths from Maine being
donated to decorate the graves at Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington,
Va., and the second year of a national campaign dubbed “Wreaths Across
America” that will bring the same remembrance wreaths to more than 230
National and State Veterans cemeteries and monuments across the nation. This
year, as in past years, wreaths will be donated for a special ceremony at
each State Capitol. All of these specially made wreaths are donated by
Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine.
