SUMMARY:Wounded Warriors Escort
DESCRIPTION:Greetings all supporters of our Troops\, \nThe motorcycling community has again been asked to participate in an escort for Wounded Warriors coming from Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) to compete in the New York City Marathon. \nThe escort will be on Friday\, October 30\, and the time schedule will be very close to that of the past two years.  The final staging area will again be the Grover Cleveland Rest Area\, New Jersey Turnpike North\, Mile Marker 92.9\, accessible from North Bound Lanes only.   We’ll stage at 11:30.  Please remember to bring your flag and pole for the Flag Line at  the Grover Cleveland Rest Area.  Members of the Nam Knights MC will be escorting the Warriors all the way from the Delaware Memorial Bridge and will lead the escort into the city. \nHere is the staging information for the Brooklyn\, Staten Island\, Queens and LI area. \nFINAL STAGING AREA:\nGrover Cleveland Rest Area\nNew Jersey Turnpike  North\nMile Marker 92.9\nAccessible from North Bound Lanes  only \nSTAGING TIME:\nBe at Grover Cleveland Not Later Than 11:30  AM\nRider briefing at 11:45 AM\n\nFlag Line at Rest area for Bus  Arrival. \nPolice Supported Escort up Turnpike to Union League Club. \nRefreshments after the escort at either the Union League Club\nor Dukes.
