WILLIAM “BILL” WIEDBUSCH, U.S.Air Force., Past Commander DAV East Valley Chapter 8, 8 Sept. 2016

WIlliam “Bill” Wiedbusch was an honored and proud member of the United States Air Force, serving between 1960 and 1968.
He was a Radar Control Tech and served between weather extremes in Alaska and Texas, with a stop in Kansas along the way. As a coastal Radar Tech, Bill was instrumental in keeping our home land safe from intruders.
He is survived by Gayle, his bride of 53 years; and his two sons.
Born in Illinois, and growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania, Bill heard the “Call of Duty” and enlisted at the age of 17.
Bill was also a respected and honored Commander of the DAV East Valley, Chapter 8 between 2009 and 2012.
