ABOUT THE MISSION:
Tec5 William S. Brown, 95, US Army, a WWII Veteran of Ocean City, MD, died 9 February 2019. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army on 11 March 1943 at Ft. George Meade, MD, and was trained as an Observation Station Operator. Although he saw no combat he was awarded the American Theater Ribbon, a Good Conduct Ribbon and the Victory Medal. Mr. Brown has no surviving family. He is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 13 January 2020 at approximately 1:00 PM from the Administration Building. PGR has been invited to attend the services and we will be there to stand tall, silent and proud in honor of this US Army WWII Veteran, his friends and comrades at arms.
