The family of Lt Col Penzien, 98, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest. Lt Col Penzien faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army-Air Force and performed duties as a Safety Staff Officer. Upon completion of his service, Lt Col Penzien received an Honorable Discharge and during his time in service, awarded the American Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Korean Service Military Ribbon w/1 Bronze Star, AF Longevity Service Military Ribbon, Korean Presidential Unit Citation Military Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/Palm, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars, Air Medal w/7 Oak Leaf Clusters,and the the AF Commendation Medal. Please bring your 3 X 5 American flags and stand in honor and respect for our hero and his family.

Special Instructions:

We will be Pallbearers for this stage only if we have at least 6 members present.
2:15 PM – Brief
KSU for the on site cemetery as directed by the funeral director.
Once at the grave site we will be Pallbearers once again. If we have more than 6 members, those riders will stand a Flag Line.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Even though I did not personally know Lt. Colonel Penzien – he is my USAF and military brother – rest in peace sir!
