He passed away June 18\, 2019 in Huntsville\, Alabama. Bill enlisted in the Army right out of high school. He served a tour of combat in Vietnam from 9/7/71 to 4/19/72 and was awarded the Bronze Star. He then joined the National Guard right after his tour of duty.
