ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Seaman Gillespie, 70, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest. William faithfully served his country in the U. S. Navy and performed duties as a Gunners Mate. Upon completion of his service, William received an Honorable Discharge and during his time in service, awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. Please bring your 3 X 5 American flags and stand in honor and respect for our hero and his family.
