DESCRIPTION:William Maynard Wallace\, Retired \nUSN – Vietnam \nJasper\, Georgia – 11 Feb 2017\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nIt is with a heavy heart I must sadly report that we have lost another  Vietnam War Veteran. William “Boats” Wallace served our great nation by  enlisting in the U.S. Navy in June 1963 serving for 20 years. He was a  “River Rat” in Vietnam and Cambodia. He also served aboard President  Nixon’s yacht. He retired from the Navy in July 1983 as a Boatswains  Mate Chief Petty Officer (E-7). He was also an active member of the  Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. \nThe family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders be present and to  honor their HERO during the memorial service at Rocco’s in Jasper\, GA. I  have informed the family that it will be our honor to do so. For the  arrival of family and friends\, we will establish and stand a silent flag  line from 10:00 am until the commencement of the memorial service at  10:45 am.
