ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have once again been requested by family members to stand a flag line to honor Command Master Chief, William Keith Anderson, Jr. U.S. Navy, at his Military Honors. CMC Anderson served our country honorably from 16 November 1969 to 01 August 1999.He was awarded many medals, commendations and awards including, Good Conduct Medal (2), Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3) w/Combat V, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon (2), Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Good Conduct Medal (6), Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal (2), Vietnam Service Medal (4), Navy and Marine Corps Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (3), Armed Forces Reserve Medal (3), Rep. of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation (Gallantry Cross), Rep of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navy Rifle Marksmanship Medal (Expert), Navy Pistol Marksmanship Medal (Expert), Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal/Ribbon With One Bronze Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal/Ribbon With Device.After his Navy retirement Bill was employed by the Navy as an Oceanographer.Bill was the father of three. He loved his Harleys and traveling.
