ABOUT THE MISSION:

Lt Col William Jefferson Howse, Jr., was a World War II Veteran who enlisted with Army Air Corps on January 31, 1944. He retired August 21, 1977 from the United States Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. Awards include: Victory Ribbon, American Theatre Campaign Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon, Philippine Independence Ribbon, Overseas Bar, Good Conduct; all with Army Air Corps, no information given from his Air Force service.

Riders will stage at the cemetery to be briefed, riders will establish a flag line and “stand tall and silent” once family and friends arrive. They are processing from Maysville, Oklahoma.
The United States Air Force will perform Full Military Honors, and we will present our certificate of appreciation. Once the service concludes, flags will be returned to the support vehicle to be furled and put away. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed.
