  1. Bill was my uncle (my mother’s brother), although I only met him once when he visited my parents home in Cocoa Beach, Florida, he was a very intelligent man who loved to tinker with electronics and loved to talk about his newest electronic discovery. I thank him for his service to our country which seems to be a family tradition.
    May he Rest In Peace.

  2. My wife and I offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of William Jay Fogal . Thank you for your service and may you rest in peace, your duty here on earth is done.

  3. When we post a mission it truly goes across the country and farther. I submitted a mission yesterday afternoon for unaccompanied veteran William Fogal. Mr. Fogal’s niece in Florida actually saw the mission post on the national PGR site. She cause his cousin in Vancouver and said that she had found Uncle Bill. This afternoon I received a call from John his cousins husband in Vancouver Washington. It seems that they had lost touch with him after a joint trip to Italy in 2001. Evidently there are numerous other cousins including some in the local area. Hopefully we will have a some of his blood family to join his veteran and community family on Wednesday for his memorial. It also now appears that Mr. Fogal’s son from Florida will be here for the funeral on Wednesday.

  4. Hi, my family has known Bill for a very long time. We lost touch with him after the passing of my father in 2009, so this comes as a complete shock and our hearts go out to his son, Chance, and all others who loved him!! He was a genius with electronics and we all thought he was going to make it big with his inventions. I hate that that never happened and I hate, even more, that he died without any family or close friends by his side. My family and I thank him for his service and we would like to thank Forces United for giving him an honorable service. Without you, Bill and other fellow veterans, may have left this world without any acknowledgement of their service to our country and without their family and friends knowing.
