William Edwin Barthel, Retired

PO2 William E. Barthel served in the United States Navy for 23 years and 5 months, and was honorably retired in July, 1968. His awards include: Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal (6th Award) and the National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award). Services for PO2 Barthel will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home at 09:30 AM, 2 Jan. 2020. Honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Site A. We will have a LEO escort.

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection be worn at all times while riding aboard the base.
09:00 AM – Briefing for all riders
09:15 AM – KSU to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W. Nine Mile Rd.
10:00 AM – Roll time to Barrancas National Cemetery, Site A, with LEO escort
11:00 AM – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
