William ‘Bill’ Brown, Veteran
Waterbury, Vermont – 10-01-19


William “Bill” Brown died on Sunday, September 22nd at Darthmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center of natural causes. He was born on March 15th, 1941 in Colchester, VT. Although he was not deployed, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam era and later in the Vermont Army National Guard. He remained a proud member of the American Legion- Post 10 in Barre- until his death and was also an active member of the American Legion Riders, a group founded by his daughter. He was an active member of the Canadian Club. Bill enjoyed deer hunting and camping. He also loved fishing with his wife, as he stated: “she always made him laugh”.
