ABOUT THE MISSION:

William ‘Bill’ Augustine Ray was a man that was a strong believer in our lord and savior Jesus Christ. He also was an organ donor so that he may lend a helping hand to others, so that their lives may be elongated. Mr. Ray faithfully served his country for five years in the US Navy and obtained the rank of Petty Officer Second Class being awarded The National Defense Service Medal and A Good Conduct Medal, 1st Award.  He was with Reconnaissance Attack Squadron Five when he became disabled and was honorable discharged.  Mr. Ray comes from a strong military family with a combined service of over a hundred years.  Obituary [1]

Set flags and conduct briefing: 12:30 pm
Establish flag line until family arrives 1:00 pm
Stand down flag line until memorial concludes.
After Memorial concludes escort to final resting place in Onslow Memorial Park.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
