ABOUT THE MISSION:
William Alan McCauley honorably served in the US Army. A native of Travelers Rest, SC, he enlisted in Feb 1969 and served in USAREUR while on active duty, achieving the rank of Sergeant E5, Combat Engineer 12B40. At the request of the family, it will be the Patriot Guard Riders honor to escort Mr. McCauley to his final resting place. This is a one-part escort only mission, please read the entire email for mission details.

Briefing – 12:10 PM Following the briefing, we will prepare to escort our hero and his family to MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery. This is a 45-mile escort at highway speeds (50 mph). If you plan to fly big flags, check your mounts for security. Following the escort, we will stand down and quietly depart. This is an escort only mission. All COVID 19 protocols will be followed. Please bring a mask or other face covering.
