ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested by one of our PGR brothers to stand in Honor of his Hero father. William A. Wooster, Jr. of Leicester (Livingston County) passed away on March 21st at the age of 83. Mr. Wooster worked at the Retsof Salt Company for 37 years, including the last 20 years as a 1st Responder with the Mine Rescue Team. Mr. Wooster is credited with saving numerous lives on several occasions during explosions and cave-ins deep underground. Mr. Wooster was also a long-time Boy Scout leader, with 8 Eagle Scouts to his credit.
Mr. Wooster’s son is one of our own. He continues to be a member of PGRNY, but now lives in Arizona. He is a Ride Captain with PGR Arizona, and is also the PGR HOTH State Coordinator for the State of Arizona, and is also active in Missions in several other States. Obviously, Mr. Wooster’s son contributes a tremendous amount of his time in support of the Patriot Guard Riders, and this Mission is an opportunity to give he and his family a small amount of support. This Mission is in two (2) parts, but both are relatively short.
