The family of William A. Lewallen has invited us to stand and honor him as he is remembered and laid to rest. Bill had an impressive history in the Army Aircorp during WWII.

The viewing is from 7 to 9. With the weather being so cold, no one is expected to stand outside, so the flag line will be inside. Whatever time you can give will be appreciated.

Special Instructions:

Services will begin at 9:30. The procession to Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ, 08610 will follow the service. Note: the procession will pass by the family home in Bordentown on the way to the cemetery. Although the temperature is rising, I don’t know if anyone will be on a bike, be especially careful if you are. Cages are always welcome and can join in the procession to the cemetery where the flag line can be reestablished for the graveside service with military honors.

    Stand down, Mr Lewallen, your mission is now complete. You have seen the horrors of combat and earned America’s respect by being awarded 5 Bronze Stars. May your Brothers and Sisters-in Arms from World War II welcome you to your eternal home. Rest easy, brave Soldier, we now have the watch! /Salute
