Mr. Nelson served in the United States Army\, 4th Infantry Division\, 2nd Battalion\, 44th Artillery. Willard attained the rank of Specialist 4th class\, and served in Vietnam from 1968 through 1969.  Mr. Nelson is survived by a son and many extended family.
