Wilfred Paul Duplessis Jr., Veteran

Wilfred Paul “Geefoo” Duplessis, Jr., native of Geismar, LA and resident of Duplessis, LA passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the age of 82. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and Business from McNeese State Univeristy and retired as a machinist and lab technician. He served as past Grand Knight of KC Council 8342 and earned the Allied Chemical Attendance Award for 36 years with no days absent, received KC Family of the Year award and KC Knight of the Year award. Paul is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 4 sisters. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, W. P. Tiggy and Thelma Duplessis and sister Jean Ann Duplessis.

We will secure flags once service begins and remain at church until conclusion of service.
Escort from the church to the grave site behind the church and stand flag line.
PGR presentation at the cemetery.
PGR may have to render military honors.
We will secure flags after the commitment ceremony.
Temperature will be in the 50’s to 70’s with a 40% chance of rain.
COVID precautions will be in effect with face covering and social distancing required.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
