ABOUT THE MISSION:
Wilford (Sarge) joined the Army in 1945, fought in WWII and retired from the Army in 1967 after 22 years of service. He also worked for the City of Duncanville as a police dispatcher and for the Dallas County Sheriff’s department as a jailer and bailiff. He retired from the Dallas County Sheriff’s department in 1984.

After the Mission Brief, the Riders will establish the Flag Line and await the arrival of SFC Strahan’s family and friends.
When directed, the Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, receive the Safety Brief and prepare to accompany the procession to the cemetery.
Riders not participating in the procession will proceed to the Little Bethel Cemetery and assist with setting up the flags. Procession Escort Provided

After the Mission Briefing honor bikes will be identified and move to the Funeral Home Staging Lane to accompany the procession from the David Clayton funeral home to the Little Bethel Cemetery. Riders not wishing to ride in the procession may proceed to the Little Bethel Cemetery, establish the Flag Line and prepare to receive the family and friends of Mr. Strahan for the committal service. When directed the Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, be debriefed and dismissed.
