ABOUT THE MISSION:
Wendell O. Daunis honorably served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1952 and is a veteran of the Korean War. Awards and Decorations include the Korean Service Medal w/3 Bronze Stars, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Purple Heart.

The Patriot Guard Riders will stage at the Visitor’s Center, DFW National Cemetery. Following the mission briefing, big flag honor bikes will move to the staging lane and prepare to escort the family. The remaining Riders will proceed to the shelter and stand the Flag Line for the Inurnment Service of Mr. Daunis. At the conclusion of the service, flags will be furled and riders dismissed.
