ABOUT THE MISSION:
Wayne Harold Krause was a United States Navy veteran. Wayne enlisted and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1956. He served aboard the USS Fletcher during the Korean War. He earned the rank Fire Control Technician, Petty Officer 3rd Class. Wayne served a total of 3 years 7 months overseas. Wayne was released from active duty and honorably discharged in November 1956 and was transferred to the USNR till November 1960.While in the service of his country Wayne earned the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Medal, Korean Service Medal and China Service Medal.
