ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been invited to stand a flag line for the Gold Star Family Monument Dedication in Forks, WA., this is the first such Monument in the State of Washington. There will be many local and state dignitaries in attendance, the Navy Band will be present as well. There will also be an honored guest, Hershel “Woody” Williams, the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from Iwo Jima. If you have not read Woody’s history I would highly recommend it.
