ABOUT THE MISSION:
Walter R. Lee was born into the Lee family, one of five children, in Yazoo City, Mississippi on 11 June 1942.In January of 1962 at nineteen years of age Walter heard the calling and enlisted in the United States Air Force and served this great country we live in faithfully until his honorable discharge after 23 years of service in May of 1986.
MSGT Lee received many medals and ribbons and are as follows: AF Outstanding Unit Award w/1 device Good Conduct Medal w/7 devices National Defense Service Medal AF Overseas Short Tour Ribbon AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon w/5 devices NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon w/1 device Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon AF Commendation Medal w/1 device Meritorious Service Medal.
