ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of U.S. Army SFC Walter Harlick (95) graciously requests that the Patriot Guard Riders stand a flag line at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Jacksonville Beach prior to his funeral service. The Patriot Guard Riders have also been requested to escort him from Hardage-Giddens Beach Chapel, Jacksonville Beach to his final resting place at Jacksonville National Cemetery and stand a flag line there to render final honors.
Prior to entering the U.S. Army, he received his Architectural Engineering degree from ICS College in  Scranton, PA. SFC Harlick was Group Maintenance Sergeant with the 44 Engr Const Company. After his honorable discharge, he worked for Sealtest, Schiltz, Central Soya, Tyson, and Sherwin Williams building large manufacturing plants.
His personal awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (w/3 Loops), Korean Service Medal (w/Bronze Star), United Nations Service Medal (2 O/S Bars), Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation.
