ABOUT THE MISSION:
Walter Allen Twyford is a United States Army Veteran. Walt served with the 25th Infantry Division and saw combat action in Vietnam. 2nd Lieutenant Twyford was honorably discharged on Sept. 21, 1966. Walt received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Machine Gun – M60 Badge, Jungle Expert Badge, 2 Bronze Stars, Purple Heart, among others.
