The family of World War II Veteran Walter A. Hickey, United States Army, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to join them in honoring the life and service of Walter at his final services and committal to be held at the Anchor Church in Callahan Florida, Thursday, September 15, 2016
Mr. Hickey served in the Pacific Theater during WWII, earning the following medals and ribbons: Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart (2 awards), Pacific Theater Victory Medal, Asiatic Theater Medal, Philippines Liberation Ribbon, among others.
We will set a flag line at the Church prior to the services. Immediately following, we will go to the Jones Cemetery (3 miles) for committal.
