ABOUT THE MISSION:
Eighty-seven year old Wallace Burns Adam lost his life on 25 March 2021. He served his country honorably for twenty-two years in the US Air Force, retiring on 31 May 81 as a LT COL (O5). One year of his service was in Vietnam.
His Air Force Jobs included: Staff Development Engineering Manager (6 years, 2 months), Pilot (1 year, 7 months), Air Operations Officer Pilot, Transport/Airlift (1 year), Air Operations Officer, pilot, Strategic Bomber/Refueling (3 years, 1 month) and Pilot, Strategic Bomber (10 years). Colonal Adam earned the following awards/decorations: Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal with one silver and one bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Combat Readiness Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Medal with 4 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
The PGR has been requested to provide a flag line only, at his interment at Fort Stanton State Veterans’ Cemetery. No escort is requested.

This is a multi-city mission since staging will be in Alamogordo, NM and a flag line is requested at Fort Stanton State Veterans’ Cemetery in Fort Stanton, NM. No escort is required, the PGR will just be traveling from Alamogordo to Fort Stanton to stand the flag line.
We will stage at 11:00 a.m. briefing at 11:15, and KSU at 11:30.
At Fort Stanton we will stand a flag line during Military Honors provided by the Holloman Air Force Base Steel Talons Honor Guard. We will stop short of the cemetery to place flags on our vehicles.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
