SN Vivian M. Northen, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of Seaman Vivian M. Northen, 89, to stand a flag line for her funeral service on Thursday at 2pm. Vivian Northen joined the Navy 27 Mar 51 as a Radio Operator. She married soon after and got out at the request of her new husband after two years and 5 months of service. She attained the rank of Seaman. After the Navy she became the first secretary hired for the brand new Pyron Elementary School, where her daughter now works. After retirement she became a Bingo fanatic, also enjoying puzzles and reading. She was a lifelong supporter of the American Legion and the VFW. Vivian is survived by two daughters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
