Mr. Harris served in Vietnam and participated in helicopter rescue missions. He was awarded the Air Medal w/1 Strike/Flight Numeral\, Combat Action Ribbon\, Combat Air Crew Insignia with 3 stars\, Vietnam Service Medal w/one star\, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 device\, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/Palm\, Good Conduct Medal 1st Award and the National Defense Service Medal.
