Honor Flight, Retired, Veteran
Menasha, Wisconsin – 03-09-19
ABOUT THE MISSION:
Many of our members are Vietnam veterans who serve because they were never welcomed home properly. Many of the missions we attend are for the same reason – to pay respects for those who didn’t receive it when it was due. The wonderful folks at Old Glory Honor Flight have done something to rectify that situation by taking a plane load of Vietnam veterans back to visit the places in which they served and to see the effects of their service by visiting a country that has rebuilt itself and is most welcoming. It’s our chance to welcome them home now in Menasha, WI. We will be there to welcome them back at Menasha High School Field House this Saturday, March 9th.
