ABOUT THE MISSION:
SSgt. Victor Castaneda, served in WWII, as a member of the 158th Infantry, Arizona National Guard Unit, Bushmasters. He fought the Japanese in the Pacific Theater, helping to capture the Japanese Air Field at Sarmi, fighting against the Imperial Japanese 36th Division. SSgt. Castaneda was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Svs. Ribbon with Bronze Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with Bronze Star, American Svs. Ribbon, and the Purple Heart.

Briefing at 1015, and a Flag Line from 10:30am until the service starts (11:00) and through military Honors.
If the USA is not available, the PGR may be called upon to assist with the Flag Folding portion of the ceremony.
A light luncheon will follow the Services at the church, which the PGR is invited to attend.
Parking will be reserved for the PGR along the East side of the church parking lot.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
