Veterans Home Transfer
MULTI-CITY, Nebraska – 01-16-19

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to participate in the transfer of veterans from the Grand Island Facility to the new Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney.  They are requesting flag lines at both locations and bus/van escorts, weather permitting.  There will be 3 separate flights of buses/vans leaving Grand Island, Loading at at 8:30 am, 9:30 am & 10:30 am.

  • #1 8:15 am, WWII Memorial Building, Front & Side entrances
  • #2 9:15 am, WWII Memorial Building, Front & Side entrances
  • #3 10:15 am, Anderson Building nearest to Capital Avenue
Stand down following each bus/van departure at the Liberty Café.
Escort riders please check in with RC Ed Taylor.

Escort riders may join the flag line or circle back to fall in with the next escort.  In between bus arrival times, PGR may go to Freedom Hall for light refreshments.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
