Verwill William Finlay Comment

  1. Our mother, Etta Hemingway, is V. William Finlay’s only sister. On behalf of Etta, myself and my 2 brothers, we want to thank all that attended and standing for her brother, our uncle. I only wish my mother could have attended. We had a family member stream the funeral so she could “be there”. She appreciated those that stood for him as it meant a lot to her.

Etta is also a veteran. She was in the Women’s Army Corps. She is also a widow of a veteran and the mother of a veteran. She understands what it takes to sacrifice for the country she loves and what it means to have someone stand in testament for the hero.

Thank You for all you do to remember these hero’s.

    Sincerely,

    Etta F. Hemingway
