ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Family of SSG Vernon Clemons, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor their loved one and it is our Great Honor and Privilege to stand Tall and Silent for this Great American Hero.  Patriots, we have lost another of America’s True Patriots!  SSG Vernon Clemons answered his country’s call and enlisted in the US Army, as a young man.  In his twenty year Army career, SSG Clemons served all over the world, including a combat tour in Vietnam.  He also served in South Korea, Panama, Thailand and Germany.  He was the recipient of many medals and awards, throughout his career, including the Vietnam Service Medal; Army Service Medal; Army Achievement Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.  Following his retirement from the Army, SSG Clemons dedicated himself to teaching heating, air conditioning & refrigeration at the Arlington Career Center.  He was passionate about educating and empowering students with a demanding skill.  While teaching, SSG Clemons began his own successful business in heating, A/C & refrigeration.  His values, character and the successfulness of his business were embodied by his company motto: Time + Patience = Success.
