ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Vern Willer has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders for services and military honors. It is with great honor to do so.Vern Willer came into this world on November 21, 1931 in Sioux City, Iowa. Vern graduated from high school in 1950 which was also the beginning of the Korean War. In 1951 Vern enlisted in the United States Air Force. Vern served 4 years and was honorably discharged.
Vern moved to Cave Creek in 1974. Vern loved horses and got involved in the parade and rodeo (DFCA), Desert Foothills Community Association.
Vern has also been a member of the American Legion Cave Creek Post #34 for more than 33 years.
We thank you Vern for your service to our country and the freedom we as Americans enjoy.
