BM1 Woodard  served his Country in the U.S. Coast Guard and performed duties as a  Boatswain’ Mate.[/FONT] \n[FONT=&amp]BM1  Woodard served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1952 – 1966\, received an  Honorable Discharge and awarded the Coast Guard Good Conduct Award (3rd  award)\, National Defense Service Medal and a Bronze Star.
