Meisinger\, 90\, Ashburn\, VA\, Retired \nUSAF  – WWII\, Korea \nFalls Church\, Virginia – 05 June 2017\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nFlight Officer Jack Arthur Meisinger\, 90\, USAAC/USAF Retired\, of Ashburn\, VA\, died 16 Jan 17.  He proudly spent 23 years in service to our great Nation.  He enlisted in the USAAC in 1943\, and retired from the USAF in 1966.  During that time he completed the Aviation Cadet Program\, and was involved in various flight operations.  Later\, he was trained in and assigned to counter intelligence operations in Europe\, the Far East and domestically.  After he retired from military service he spent the next 20 years as a Federal employee and then an additional 12 years in the private sector with Vector Research Inc\, as a Senior Program Analyst. He was the recipient of many awards and commendations.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years Ivy and leaves behind a large and loving family. \nFLT Officer Jack A. Meisinger is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 5 June 2017 at approximately 0900 hours from the Administration Building.
