ABOUT THE MISSION:

Special Operations Chief Tyler Bill Black, USN, SEAL (Ret.) was born 02 October 1978 and passed away 22 October 2020 at the age of 42 in San Diego. Chief Black entered Naval Service 13 November 1997 and was awarded his SEAL Trident in October of 1998. A combat veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, he is a recipient of the Joint Service Commendation Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal; seven awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with one Combat “V”); the Combat Action Ribbon; Special Warfare (SEAL); Naval Parachutist; Basic Parachutist; Static Line Jumpmaster; Navy Expert Rifle Medal; Navy Expert Pistol Medal; and many other personal, campaign and unit awards.

After the Safety Briefing, the Riders will prepare to accompany the procession to the cemetery.
Anyone not participating in the procession will proceed to the cemetery and assist with setting up the flags.
Procession Escort Provided.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

After the Mission Briefing four honor bikes will be identified and move to the Staging Lane to accompany the procession.
The remainder of the Riders will proceed to the designated Committal Shelter and establish the Flag Line.
When directed the Riders will return the flags to storage, be debriefed and dismissed.
